Honey Oak Cabinets... What do I do with you?

So I do not love our honey oak cabinets. I am on the scared-er side of deciding what I really do want to do with them. Staining is not an option, so painting? But there are limitless options, and serious technique to master before tackling painting cabinets.

So I thought I'd try to master some techniques in Photoshop first. Since we have white appliances, I'm not digging white cabinets. Our countertops are more gray than color, so we thought we'd try gray. There's also a display at Home Depot with gray cabinets that we digged. But what do you think? I'm having a hard time. For kicks I also added crown molding, tile backsplash, white trim around the window, and corbels at the stove. Oh, and sweet cabinet hardware. Well take a look and see what you think.
